Page 43. I redid the dialogue. My husband came up with Ace’s new line, and I think it works much better.

Page 44, Chapter 2. I worked and reworked the dialogue on this page. I’m pretty happy with how it came out though, as well as the expressions in Panels 1-5. 😀

Page 45. This wraps up Chapter 2! There will be a one week chapter break, so no update next week. The break is so I can write Chapter Three’s script. I’m pretty excited: Chapter three is going to finally take us to the planet Pelkern, woohoo!

Chapter 3 begins! I am hoping the two shadows–Artor’s shadow, and the receding memory shadows–make sense here. I like the version without Artor’s shadow too: In other news, I got a new Wacom Cintiq 16 (from the new affordable line), and I am loving it.

Page 47. Thanksgiving put me behind, but I’m pretty pleased with how this page turned out. The last two panels are some of the best drawings of Ace that I have done, I think.

Page 48. Awkward hug time! Artor hugs his grandson about as much as he apologizes to his grandson, so Ace is a little confused here. The lighting was tricky on this page. Also I do not like drawing cars.

Page 49. Ace, Carolyn, Myles, and Sol are coming back to Ace’s house at dusk. I found the lighting tricky to paint. Page 50 goes up on the 26th. 🙂
