Boar Hunting
Happy Thanksgiving! I was going to draw Ace catching a turkey, but Pelkern doesn’t have much in the way of feathered creatures. (Nor would they celebrate a USA holiday, if we’re being technical). Pelkern does have boars, though, so here is Ace getting ready to spear a boar for a feast. : D

I was trying to capture that feeling of not being able to sleep; on the nights when your limbs ache to your very bones with tiredness, but behind your eyes your mind stares out sleepless.
(Continuity Edit: I forgot his wedding ring in panels 1, 3, and 4, added it in.)

Chapter 2, yay! Here is a bigger size image of the Polaroid. Artor is not one to smile for any new-world contraptions, that goes double for cameras.
*Edit — Between this page and the next I had changed Ace’s design slightly, so I went back and made the changes retroactively. His nose is now more crooked, and made him clean-shaven. You can see the original in the photo below.
